Program evaluates more than 100 carrier-partners, selects four regional winners for reliability and superior performance supporting PECO’s pooled rental pallet network.
Itasca, IL – February 4, 2025 – PECO Pallet, one of North America’s largest providers of rental pallet services to the beverage, grocery, and consumer products industries, has recognized four outstanding trucking companies for their superior service in its annual Carrier of the Year awards program.
Each year PECO works with more than 100 trucking service partners for transportation of the company’s signature red, highly engineered nine-block pallets, which are used by hundreds of customers in dozens of industries in North America as their primary platform for securely shipping goods.
The 2024 award program selected one honoree from each of PECO’s four primary service regions: Eastern U.S, Midwest U.S., Western U.S., and Canada.

PECO’s Carrier of the Year program objectively assesses carriers on key performance metrics including equipment quality and availability, on-time performance, delivery updates, invoicing timeliness, safety, data quality, proactive communications, and overall customer support. Evaluation criteria also include cost-reduction initiatives, FMCSA CSA scores, and continuous improvement efforts.
